Senior AI Engineer Job in Bengaluru – Grab

Grab is hiring a Senior AI Engineer for its Data Science team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building AI and machine learning solutions for financial services, including payment optimization, intelligent operations and customer-facing AI experiences.

The engineer will work across traditional machine learning, Generative AI, AI agents and MLOps, taking solutions from development through production while balancing performance, cost and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

Build machine learning models for classification, ranking and recommendation use cases.
Develop Generative AI solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering and agent orchestration.
Build and manage AI agents from development to production.
Create MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment and monitoring.
Work with engineering, compliance and operations teams.
Evaluate AI systems and improve their performance and reliability.
Apply new AI/LLM frameworks to practical business problems.

Requirements:

5+ years of relevant AI or Data Science experience.
Strong proficiency in Python, Spark and SQL.
Good understanding of machine learning concepts and recommendation systems.
Experience with LangGraph, LangSmith or LangChain.
Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow or SageMaker.
Knowledge of LLM orchestration, model fine-tuning and AI evaluation.
Strong coding, Git/GitHub and software engineering practices.
