Applied AI Systems Engineer

Disha: AI Health Coach is hiring an Applied AI Systems Engineer to build reliable AI systems for its AI-powered health coach.

The role involves working closely with the product and founding team to turn complex product problems into practical AI systems. The engineer will work across AI architecture, experimentation, evaluation and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build reliable AI systems.
• Develop LLM-powered features and workflows.
• Work with prompt and context engineering.
• Build RAG, memory and tool-calling systems.
• Create evaluations for AI systems.
• Debug and improve live AI systems using logs, traces and conversation data.
• Build prototypes, internal tools and data pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams.

Requirements:
• Around 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, ML or data science.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs.
• Experience with prompts, tool calling, RAG, memory and structured outputs.
• Experience with AI evaluation and debugging.
